Some Epic Bike Racing

This past week the USA Pro Cycling Challenge was in Colorado. It was an epic race showcasing not only the best pro teams in cycling, but the gorgeous Colorado landscape as well. I mean what better place to hold a bike race than Colorado – this place was MADE for bike riding! Nat and I made our way up to Breckenridge to see the end of Stage 5 and then came back down to Denver for the finish of Stage 6. Both days were such a thrill! It was great to see the guys that ride all over Europe right here in our own backyard. Breckenridge was pretty sweet on its own, but Denver definitely took the cake. The finish was such a rush to see them make 6 laps around the capitol. Kudos to Levi for winning the whole race. He really killed it. Thanks to the cycling industry for bringing the race to Colorado. Can’t wait until next year! Here are a few photos from the two days:

A little local scenery up in Breck:

I mean really, who can resist a pic with Smokey the Bear when he’s walking around??

And now on to the riders – Andy Schleck giving Ivan Basso a little congratulatory pat on the day:

Onto Day 7 in Denver:

Fast Freddy back in the peloton again – a beautiful day!

The crowds really were amazing out there:

Have a great Monday!

Jon Love the one with Schleck and Ten Dam – looks like a Coke ad shoot.
