Kelly+Brett Wedding

A Southern boy and a Denver girl – Brett and Kelly were married in Denver on July 14th – and what a gorgeous day! We started out at Nordstrom for make-up with the ladies at Bobbi Brown where Kelly was perpetually grinning from ear to ear. The nerves had subsided and she was ready to enjoy her day. Brett and the rest of the guys were already starting at the church relaxing and enjoying the morning.

After a beautiful ceremony at Good Shepard Church, we headed off to Cheeseman Park for a few photos and then on to the Denver Athletic Club for their reception overlooking downtown Denver. Anyone who knows Brett, knows that good beer would be involved, so we made a pit stop at their hotel to give Kelly a chance to have her hair pulled up and everyone else an opportunity to enjoy a cold, Colorado beer before we headed across the street to start the party.

They put together a beautiful reception – the guys had gotten up super early that morning to come and help hang paper lanterns throughout the reception which looked absolutely stunning. They put together such unique centerpieces and it tied together  nicely with more flowers from Diz’s Daisys to accent the tables. The Southern boy in me was taken back home when the Arkansas crew broke out the “Whooo Pig” chant for the Arkansas Razorbacks! This was my kind of party! The evening finished off with Kelly and Brett dancing the night away on top of the town in Denver. A huge thanks to Erin Davenport (who I unfortunately neglected to mention in my original post – shame on me!) for her help capturing the day.

Thank you both so much for having me a part of your day. It was simply amazing. You are two of the most generous and thoughtful people I’ve met. Have a wonderful honeymoon!

Kelly’s bouquet from Diz’s Dasiys was one of the prettiest that I’ve ever seen:

Kelly and Brett pulled together some of the greatest little details to make the day special for them.

Love the socks, boys!

The dessert table and wedding cake from Das Meyer Pastries

They just look so happy together!

Happy Friday!
