Julie and Cody – what a wedding! It was a beautiful day in Breckenridge. A quick drive up I-70 and you’re away from the world up there. Such a gorgeous natural venue and as luck would have it, the rain would hold off – luckily, right until we finished pictures. We couldn’t have timed it any better. Gorgeous light and a little good luck rain to boot.
They were married in the storybook St. Mary’s Catholic Church right in downtown Breckenridge. After the ceremony we made our way as a group to get pictures of the bridal party while the rest of the wedding moved to the Beaver Run Resort & Conference Center. Overlooking the ski slopes, it was the perfect picturesque setting to end the night. After group shots, we joined the rest of the reception and partied the night away with the DJ blasting music out over the mountain. It was a great end to a fabulous day. I know Cody and Julie were thrilled to have everyone there. Congratulations to them on a perfect day!
I had some stellar photographic help for the day as Megan Evans was in town to help me get every shot covered. We had a blast working together.
Here’s Julie getting ready to step into her gorgeous Robert Bullock dress from Bea’s Bridal in Denver:
After spending some time with the ladies, we moved over to the guys room to catch them getting ready:
I caught this shot of the bride as we rode in the shuttle to the church:
Julie’s flowers were absolutely amazing – orchids, white roses and lavender - oh the lavender - it smelled so good! Courtsey Petal and Bean in Breckenridge:
I grabbed this shot of the bride as she made her way to the front of the church to make her grand entrance:
Julie’s Irish family was so sweet:
We found a really fun location for pictures after the ceremony (I have to give credit to my friend Nikki for that find, actually):
This jumping shot was classic:
Have a great Monday!
